Black Pacific,
Chinese Atlantic

Black Pacific, Chinese Atlantic is a two-channel video installation by Tao Leigh Goffe that chronicles a journey of Afro-Chinese diasporic return, a non-linear history told through found and archival footage amid colonial crosscurrents and oceanic intimacies.

This project was co-commissioned by NTMoFA and the Guggenheim Sixth Asian Art Council and shown at the 2024 Asian Art Biennial
